A local console for deploy, inspect, and diagnose

Install Dock runs on your computer. USB Android is the primary target for APK and split-package deploy. Authorized host OS installers are available with honest limits — without accounts or cloud sync.

What you can do

Lead with USB Android. Preflight, confirmations, Diagnostics, and View device deepen the operator bench. Host packages and Advanced Mode stay honest about limits.

Deploy & inspect

Primary USB Android path — packages on disk, confirmations required.

Targets workspace

One place for the USB device, installed apps, local builds, deploy actions, and session activity — no separate Applications or History silos.

Package inspect & compare

Parse APK and split sets (.apks, .xapk, .apkm) locally: package name, versionCode, SHA-256 prefix, SDK levels, and permissions. Map install, update, reinstall, or downgrade.

Preflight

Read-only checks before a mutating deploy. Findings are PASS, INFO, WARNING, or BLOCKING so you know what will change.

Confirmed deployment

Every mutating action requires explicit confirmation. Downgrades need a second confirmation — never silent or automatic.

Honest sessions

Timeout or disconnect becomes Interrupted. Verify the installed version before you retry. Progress is elapsed time — not a fake transfer percentage.

Read data

Browse that app’s private data, install files, shared data, OBB, and media with clear boundaries. Export and sync after confirm. Folders are never deleted.

Diagnose & view

Local tools for readiness and on-device visibility — USB only.

Diagnostics & ADB Doctor

Probe local ADB and target health on this computer. Restart the local ADB server when needed — USB drivers are not rewritten for you.

View device

Open the selected USB Android screen in a second window. Local H.264 stream or stills to 127.0.0.1 only. Tap, swipe, keyboard, and drop APK after confirm. Not wireless ADB, not VNC, not MDM.

Session reports & logs

Local Markdown/JSON session reports and JSONL logs stay on the operator machine. Theme, Privacy Mode, and ADB path live in Settings.

Privacy Mode

On by default. Serials, paths, and recents stay masked until you explicitly reveal them.

Extended & advanced

Opt-in or secondary paths — never silent fleet or OS-security bypass.

Serial USB queue

Advanced Mode can queue additional USB Android targets one at a time. Each device has its own confirm. There is no install-to-all.

Host OS packages

Inspect IPA, macOS, Windows, and Linux packages locally. Deploy only through official tools (e.g. Apple device tools, msiexec, dpkg) with honest limits on Platforms.

Data Bridge helper

Optional on-device Android helper with a hash catalog. Install, upgrade, or uninstall the helper only — staging cleaned up. Not a root or SELinux bypass.

Advanced Mode

Opt-in controls for runtime permissions, AppOps special-access, and a per-app UID firewall only when a privileged shell already exists. No Magisk, bootloader unlock, or SELinux disable.

Supported operations

versionCode drives the action badge — install, update, reinstall, downgrade, or uninstall.

  • Install

Deploy when the package is not yet on the device.

  • Update

Replace an existing app when selected versionCode is higher.

  • Reinstall

Replace when versionCode matches — useful for same-build redeploys.

  • Downgrade

Install an older build with double confirmation, where Android allows.

  • Uninstall

Remove an application from the selected device after confirmation.

Desktop shell

Six focused areas — the same navigation order as the application.

  • DashboardADB status, selected target, and quick paths into Targets.
  • TargetsUSB picker, apps, builds, inspect, deploy, and activity.
  • DiagnosticsADB Doctor and target health probes.
  • LogsLocal JSONL logs on this computer.
  • SettingsTheme, Privacy Mode, Advanced Mode, and ADB path.
  • AboutProduct identity and local-only positioning.
